Petrisor found hope again in November 2012 when, together with his sisters, Iuliana and Miruna, he became a part of our Hand of Help family.
Petrisor experienced hardships and abandonment at an age when he should have enjoyed his childhood and the love of his parents. They both used to take turns working abroad and the siblings spent year after year in the company and care of just one parent.
In 2012 however, their father refused to send any more money home which led their mother to borrow financial resources from different loan sharks. Unable to pay the loans back, the family soon lost their house and the mother decided to travel back abroad.
The children were left alone and when the social workers were called to analyze the situation, they found the siblings unattended, without food or clothing and lacking the basic hygienic and medical care. Moreover, soon after, their mother was sent to court on theft charges and sentenced to a two year suspended condemnation.
Petrisor is "home" now, in a place where the love of others is never missing and the comfort and joy that come with a safe environment, allow him to grow up and develop his abilities in preparation for his future. Please keep him in your prayers and ask our God, together with us, to show him His grace and pour His blessings over him, helping him cope with all the situations that will appear in his life and giving him the wisdom to always act in accordance to His will.
