About Me
Georgiana O. was born in 2005. Georgiana and her sister, Iulia, have been with Hand of Help since 2009. Their parents suffered from mental illness and often left the children alone and neglected for days. The community where the family belonged asked for our help, and Georgiana became a part of our family.
Unfortunately, given their medical conditions, the parents did not keep in contact with Georgiana.
Growing up, Georgiana did very well in school. Drawing was one of her passions, and she attended extracurricular classes at the Children's Arts School in Botosani.
She was also actively involved in the orphanage, helping with cleaning, washing the dishes, ironing, and other tasks.
We thank God for allowing us to sow into Georgiana's life throughout her years at Hand of Help. During her transition to independent life, Georgiana lived for a while in Botosani; soon after, Georgiana told us she moved abroad. Many of our children make this step at the start of independent life - European laws make working abroad an easy process for Romanian citizens, and wages are many times higher than in Romania.
Thank you for your love and support for our children. Please continue to pray for Georgiana as she navigates the challenges of independent life. Most importantly, may the Holy Spirit work in her life and draw her unto Himself! May the seed throughout these years bring forth much fruit!
